What is Music Therapy?

Music Therapy is an evidence based intervention that in many developed countries recognised as an allied health profession that helps to improve the overall wellbeing of an individual which include their physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs, as well as self exploration and understanding. A registered music therapist will use music as the tool to communicate and bring about therapeutic changes that can be measurable. People from 0 to 120 will benefit from music therapy and no prior knowledge of music is required.
